Leon Russell Headlines 2nd Curaçao International BlueSeas Festival

Today, the organization is proud to announce the line-up for the 2nd edition of Curaçao International BlueSeas Festival that will take place on Friday 6 and Saturday 7 May 2016. This time, six stages will be built in the historical area of Pietermaai where a select group of international blues musicians will perform during the free street festival.

The program will offer something for any music lover. From blues, blues-rock, bluegrass, soul to gospel. King, Eric Clapton, Bob Dylan, Willie Nelson, The Rolling Stones, and Elton John. On Saturday 7 May, where else but on this very same stage, it will be Jimmie Vaughan’s turn with The-Tilt-A-Whirl Band featuring Lou Ann Barton. Four-time Grammy Award winner, Texas guitar legend, and older brother of Stevie Ray, Jimmie Vaughan has shared the stage with greats such as B.B. King, Muddy Waters, and Buddy Guy.
