Kansas City-based blues-rock guitarist, singer/songwriter Samantha Fish has been on a major roll ever since she teamed up with Cassie Taylor and Dani Wilde on Ruf Records’ 2011 release, Girls with Guitars, and fueled by the trio’s Blues Caravan tour of Europe and the U.S., created an international buzz in the blues world. Later that same year she recorded her solo debut on Ruf Records Runaway, for which she won a Blues Music Award for Best New Artist Debut. For the follow-up album Black Wind Howlin’ Fish again teamed up with label mate and sometimes touring buddy Mike Zito. Only into her mid-20s, Samantha Fish has already shared the stage with well-established and legendary artists from Tab Benoit and Johnny Lang to Buddy Guy. The third studio album Wild Heart produced by Luther Dickinson (The North Mississippi Allstars/Black Crowes) again proves to be a stunning representation of Americana roots music. Samantha Fish is here to stay!
